Unicase
Although it is a decidedly contemporary design, Unicase has its roots in uncial lettering. This alphabet mixes capital and lowercase letterforms; together with the oldstyle figures they create a friendly, delicate text image. The design has a generous body and very short ascenders and descenders, allowing for compact setting with little linespace. Because it is a stencil typeface it can be cut out in a variety of materials. Yet it tries to attract as little attention as possible on its stencil nature: bridges were added only where needed and have almost no impact on the letterforms.
