Laundry

The all-caps Laundry originated from an existing alphabet that was revisited and carefully reworked for general use. Its letters are meant to be cut out in sheet metal, plastic, or any other durable flat material. One of the more literal typefaces in the collection, the letters have integrated tabs. Those are used to hang them from a horizontal cable, just like laundry on a clothesline, which lends the text a dreamy, poetic atmosphere. The tabs are more than merely functional appendages; they form an integral part of the design and give the typeface its distinct flavour.
