The uniqueness of Street Stencil lies in the fact that it has only diagonal bridges in its characters. These bridges go beyond their utilitarian purpose – they form an integral part of the text image, lending it a strong and lively rhythm and a recognisable identity. The typeface also comes in a Rough version. This version has two variants for each letter with different erosion to avoid identical repeating characters. The stencil letterforms are meant to be cut out in a variety of materials, but the fonts may just as well be used solely for their aesthetic qualities.
