Stretch

Contrary to most typefaces Stretch was specifically designed to be stretched and manipulated. It is an ideal solution when the size of the text is dictated by the proportions of the surface they are applied to, as the character shapes can easily be adapted to fit the dimensions of the canvas. In order to facilitate this the design only has horizontal and vertical lines, and every single curve in a character is connected to the next curve by straight lines. Using only these specific ‘stretch-safe’ zones when manipulating the letters ensures that they don’t get distorted.
