RCO HOUSE (2019)

Redesign of the original building facade of the RCO House in Amsterdam. This building was officially opened as the new office of the Concertgebouworkest in 2019.

Knip invited K. Skippers to come up with an autonomous line for the many. It reads: “Let op wat iedereen kan horen en pas dan komt het hier toevallig tevoorschijn een nieuwe klank. This translates in English to: “Pay attention to what everyone can hear, as it will be reflected with a new sound.”

For this, René made use of the already existing, unique typeface design he had made for the Concertgebouworkest. The embossed letters are gold platted and are placed on a green background.
