Concertgebouworkest
For roughly 20 years Atelier René Knip has been in charge of creating the identity of the Concertgebouworkest.
The identity is based on a unique typeface, as well as the bold poster colours that make brochures, covers, and posters distinctive and recognisable.
Besides the bold colours, Knip also uses a lot of metallics (to represent the instruments) and red (to represent the concert hall) used, creating a mysterious familiarity for the observer and the connection to the concert hall itself.
